Based on extensive research conducted by the government and a thorough program evaluation, the FSWP has been re structured to meet the ever changing climate of Canada’s economy and long term prosperity. Not only have these changes improved Canada’s ability to differentiate between potential immigrants that are better suited to work here, but the new changes also ensure that these immigrants will also be better positioned for success. As a result, this new program will help adapt to Canada’s changing labour market needs and help fill the gaps left by the natural labour market in Canada, without placing a burden on our society.
