Why choose a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) when I can do it myself?

Before deciding if you will be using a representative to handle your case, you may question whether or not you even need one. You have probably heard stories of people filling out the forms, paying the government fees and they get a visa. However, you may have also heard of other people getting their applications refused and thereby making it harder for them to obtain status in the future. The bottom line is that immigration matters are very important, and you should always seek legal advice and help for your case to ensure that you are aware of all of your options and nothing is left out for your case.

You can take a risk and try to represent yourself in some simple cases however that is still a gamble and it is not worth it. Immigration law is very complex and laws are always changing. Our immigration consultant Toronto professionals can ensure that you get the most current legal advice regarding your case, so that you can make an informed decision.

What can I expect from my immigration consultant?

When you retain the services of one of our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC), there are three main advantages that you will have:

1) We will assess your complete case from the beginning so that we have a full understanding of your situation and what your immigration goals are. By doing a full assessment of your case we can determine exactly what needs to be done so that you can get a positive decision on your case.

2) Based on your assessment we will provide you with legal advice regarding your case and give you all of the options that are available to you. You will then be armed with all the information that you need so that you can make the best decision when it comes to your immigration matters.

3. Once you are comfortable with the advice you have received, you can then make a decision as to how you would like to proceed. At this point, if you choose to retain our services, our RCIC’s will process your entire case from beginning to end for one flat fee and keep you informed throughout the entire process.

During the complete process from beginning to end, all correspondence with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will be processed through our office so that you have the peace of mine in knowing that your case is being handled by professionals.

What are the professional fees for your services?

Depending on your specific case the professional fees charged by our company vary. Not every application or case is usually the exact same and so we would have to do an assessment of your case first before we provide you with an exact amount. We offer flat rate fees, regardless of the type of immigration case you have, as well as flexible payment plans. We will advise you of all the professional fees involved upfront so that there are no surprises and give you a timeline of how long your case will take to conclude.
Overall, we have a very transparent process so that all aspects of your case are presented upfront and you are aware of all options, costs and timelines associated with your case. Lastly, by retaining our services you will have a RCIC as your representative for the entire process until the decision on your application has been made.

Does your immigration firm offer a service or money-back guarantee?

The short answer is no. Professional and competent immigration advice and help will never be free as the experts that are providing it have gone through educational accreditation to be able to provide you with immigration services. If someone is offering you a service or money-back guarantee, it should automatically raise a red flag for you. Immigration professionals, regardless of if they are a lawyer or consultant, cannot legally provide you with a guarantee when it comes to the outcome of your case or application. The reason is because the ultimate decision is not up to your representative but the assessing officer of your case or application.
Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC’s) will go through a thorough assessment of your case to ensure that you qualify for the immigration category in which you are seeking to apply or get status. As a result, we will pre qualify you before taking on your case so that we can be sure that you are eligible to apply for the immigration program you are interested in or the status that you are seeking to attain. We cannot legally guarantee that you will get a positive decision on your case but by retaining the services of a immigration consultant Toronto professional, you can be sure that you have the best chances.

My current visa in Canada has expired, what now?

According to the immigration rules, you are required to renew, update or change your immigration status with CIC at least 30 days before your current visa expires. We all know that there may be reasons that lead to a situation where your visa has expired and you have not applied to renew it. In this situation, according to CIC, you are required to leave Canada immediately as your current visa has expired. That being said however, there are options that are available to you which may allow you to restore your status in Canada.
